Our Function Rooms

Rishton Cricket Club is in close proximity to the centre of town and within a few minutes walk of the local churches which is perfect for christening events. The club is extremely popular and widely used for many functions such as birthday parties, christenings, baby showers and funerals just to name a few. Due to the demand booking in advance is the best way to secure the modern function room.

The club has ramp access and a disabled toilet and baby changing facilities. The club has plenty of outdoor space for your guests to socialise in the sun- Rishton CC is the biggest beer garden in Rishton! The bar takes cash & card payments for your convenience. There is a wide selection of lagers, ales and a special cask ale that changes often at low prices compared to other venues. There is plenty of gin choices too to wet your appetite!

We have two available function rooms, The Petre Lounge and The Loft Lounge.

The Petre lounge is the main function area which can hold up to 120 guests. The room has recently been redecorated and furnished with modern furniture and comfy sofas. We have disco lights installed and a sonos system if you want to keep the costs low. This room has a large bar area for your guests to use.

The Loft Lounge is upstairs on the right as you walk though the club entrance and it can hold around 40 people. This room is usually used for meetings, sponsored matches and baby showers. This is perfect for if you would like a small gathering with close family or friends. This room has been recently modernised and the pictures speak for themselves! You also have access to a balcony area with seating where you can enjoy the sunshine and the cricket. The loft lounge does not have a bar however it does have a fridge so that your party can help themselves to the drinks packages (at a good price) which you can request when booking. However, we do not allow guests to bring their own alcohol.

The Petre Lounge Function Room Hire Prices

The room hire is £35 and a £20 refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. If a deposit is not paid the room may be booked for another party.

Bookings can only be taken by members of the club, you are able to make yourself a social member which is £10 paid annually.

Children's parties can be booked but they are only held between 11am-1pm.

Funerals - No fee

Notes :

*All 21st bookings must either be proposed by an existing member and/or agreed with a member of the Social Committee. No 18th birthdays permitted.

** All deposits will be fully refunded providing there is no damage caused to the club and its facilities that can be attributed to the guests of the function.

Failure to pay the deposit within one week of verbal booking could result in the loss of the date reservation.

***When seeking to book a function, please provide an estimate of the number of guests likely to be attending to enable us to staff your function appropriately.
